Spending it right? Next Generation EU and the National Recovery Plans

16. juni 2021 kl. 10.00 - 10.45

Last summer the EU agreed to Next Generation EU, the EU’s landmark fund of almost 800 billion euros for Europe’s economic recovery from the corona crisis. The fund was launched as one of the main drivers in the post-COVID-19 economic recovery in Europe. However, for this to become a reality first step is for the EU’s member states to offer solid plans for how to spend the money from the fund.

In late April 2021 EU member states began submitting their recovery and resilience plans to the Commission - a requirement for receiving money from the fund.

Denmark was in this first wave of countries submitting its plan on April 30. This webinar will examine the Danish and plans of other EU member states with a view to how they contribute to the green and digital transformation of the European economy that is also the goal of Next Generation EU.
